Incredible service and meals. View of Mt. Fuji from our amazing room was stunning. Private onsen was lovely. We cannot stop raving about our trip.

The food was amazing and it was so relaxing. Enjoyed biking around the nearby lake and seeing fiji. The spa was very relaxing and liked being able to open the windows while bathing.

Genuinely the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in my life. Great view that looks out to Fuji, amazing food that is traditional and made with fresh produce. It’s everything you can want in a hotel and our only regret is not staying more nights here. The staff here is just beyond amazing. They went above and beyond for us, even organised a cake for my birthday. We even got to see the first snow of the season here.

The location may be a little way off Lake Yamanaka but that means you enjoy the peace and quiet. You can also rent bicycles from the accommodation if you are not driving. Breakfast and dinner are both served in the dining area of your apartment so that is super convenient. It's a mini kaiseki experience at dinner and the menu changes every day. Breakfast is Japanese style. You will get fed very well! Room is comfortable and spacious. You also get to enjoy the private onsen right at your door step.

Our stay in Oshino was a truly unique experience and memory we will cherish forever. The house was beautiful and luxurious, especially the gorgeous zen garden and onsen hot bath. What really blew us away though was the food. We went for dinner and breakfast during our stay and the experience was incredible. There was an amazing array of beautifully prepared Japanese dishes lovingly served to us. All of it was delicious and felt like a fine dining experience from start to finish. The staff were so friendly and attentive throughout our stay and even helped us to book a taxi to our next destination. Oshino itself was a beautiful place which felt incredibly calm and peaceful. The view of mount fuji from our bedroom window was spectacular and it was a delight to watch the scenes change so quickly with the weather from such luxurious comfort.

Unique experience. Top notch accomodation. Everything was great, including food, service, furnishing and the private bath. Every little detail is perfected here and it all culiminates in an absolutely unforgettable expirience. If you want to feel luxurious, here you definitely will.

The service was immaculate - every need was attended to and nothing was left for us to worry about. The property is gorgeous, each room has its own garden space which is perfect for relaxing and meditation. The rooms were well appointed, with a great space to dine, entertain, relax, sleep, and your own PRIVATE ONSEN that opens out towards your garden. The food was amongst the best that we had in Japan.

Room was pristine. Amenities complete. Free drinks at mini bar. Beds comfortable. Small outdoor area to relax and admire your own private garden. 24 hour private onsen. Helpful and friendly staff. Breakfast and dinner impeccable. Everything prepared meticulously and with the freshest ingredients. Except maybe the lobster but really a minor point. Meals were different on both days. Highly recommend!

Spacious rooms, interiors, private bath tub, superb dining, friendly (and thoughtful) staff …and Everything! I got a free bike to ride around and a free taxi back to the train station. As I was travelling solo, I even got booked a female driver!! Thank you, my stay at your place has made my Japan trip unforgettable!
