Nice and quiet location, close to the motorway (important for us). The host is very welcoming and accomodating (we were 5 hrs late after the closure of the reception). Our room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. Excellent breakfast (we particularly loved the scrambled eggs) and plenty of it. We are definitelly putting the Gasthof Zum Stausee onto our list of places to stay near Cologne (easy connections to Cologne).

I have stayed in this hotel several times because the location suits me, the rooms are comfortable and a good size, the breakfast is very good with good choice. The only problem for me is that this time the bar and restaurant were not open and we were looking forward to eating an having a beer in the restaurant rather than walking to the nearest eaterie. We have always been very satisfied with the restaurant for price and quality.

Very good hotel in quiet village location, comfy room, clean. Excellent evening meal and breakfast. This was the third time I have stayed here and will come again sometime I am sure.
