Very beautiful and quiet place with friendly staff. Would highly recommend! Very clean bathroom, and comfortable beds. We had a very rainy day, but it was still nice to stay in the little house.

Absolutely superb, amazing hosts & hostesses, spectacular dinner and breakfast. Couldn't say anything bad even if I tried. And the Koi pond is amazing (my favourite fish) we spent about an hour every morning just watching them swim around haha.

We booked half-board for just one night: the apartment is really beautiful with a wonderful view into the garden. The bathroom is really luxurious, the beds (Futons) very comfortable. We had a very relaxed stay at Oukai Villa Izumi!

The buildings and the Japanese garden at the Villa are outstanding and the food the best we’ve ever experienced. The service was extraordinary - friendly, helpful, professional, and personal. The surrounding countryside and the local villages are wonderful to cycle around and very safe. The courtesy transport is exceptional. Overall, fabulous value for money and we will definitely be coming back.

Delicious food, very friendly hosts! Beautiful property, the lobby area was lovely and the rooms were very comfortable. The gardens were small but stunning. Free shuttle to the local train station was great.

I loved our stay here, the small house was amazing and everything was super clean. The garden is spectacular just like in the photos. I booked with halfpension and both the Japanese breakfast and dinner (hotpot and BBQ) were delicious. The location is far from the center of Osaka, but we came for Mt. Koya which is easy to reach from the hotel with a paid shuttle service that was pretty cheap! There is also a free timed shuttle service to Izumi-chuo station though. I'd stay here if you want to relax, bike or hike!

Absolutely beautiful location. Every detail of the stay was meticulously tended to. The food was delicious and served in a beautiful room. They made up for no onsen aith a very sophisticated bath set-up.
