Ozaki was very friendly & helpful. The beds were comfy. The room was very spacious and clean and had everything you need. Was easy short walk to Hommachi station. Kotatsu table was lovely & cosy too. Soft lighting & nice and warm. Also lots of restaurants and convenience stores are close by. Would highly recommend.

It was such a unique experience and a fabulous introduction to japan. The room is very spacious and easily fit our family of 4. The location was really great and easy to get around Osaka from here. Ozaki could not have been more helpful with lots of great recommendations. Would definitely stay here again.

We enjoyed our stay in Osaka Ukiyoe Ryokan very much. The room is exactly as shown here and on their website. The room is clean, spacious and very comfortable. The hotel is located very near to the huge Hommachi Metro station, serving 3 different train lines, which is excellent for access to all the attractions in Osaka. Ozaki-san, the owner of the hotel, is very welcoming and friendly. He goes all out to ensure his guests have an excellent stay. Even before we arrived, we have communicated via WhatsApp and Ozaki-san shared some Osaka planning tips. We are also very grateful for the souvenirs he has thoughtfully prepared for us. All-in-all an excellent stay and we would recommend it to anyone visiting Osaka.

The property was clean, comfortable, and cozy; especially the heated table! We loved the presents that you gave us, and we really appreciated the warm welcome you gave us when we moved in. This hotel is sure to become one of the most famous hotels in Japan, mostly because of the experiences that you gave us like taking pictures of us while we had armour on.

The best hosts that we ever had on any trip. Kind, welcoming and unbelievably heartfelt. They try to help you every way they can (restaurant reservations, recommendations, etc - even after we left) and you feel at home the moment you arrive. The room was comfortable, clean and beautifully decorated. They’ve done the extra mile and even bought diapers and presents for our 1 year old. The foto shooting they do in Samurai armor and Kimono was also a highlight.

Our stay in Osaka was absolutely wonderful. The apartment was spacious and had all the amenities we needed to feel comfortable, truly a home away from home. The location is just a few meters from a major metro station, making it easy to explore the city. Our host, Ozaki and his wife, went above and beyond in making our stay memorable. They were so welcoming and always ready to help. Ozaki gave us recommendations for restaurants and places to visit around Osaka, as well as useful tips for our day trip to Nara. The photo shooting with the traditional costumes was fun. Their hospitality made us feel like we were visiting friends rather than just staying at a rental. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience and would highly recommend this place to anyone visiting Osaka.

Ozaki-san was a wonderful host. He was so kind to my family. The samurai experience is not to be missed. Ozaki-san also helped us with booking restaurants and making recommendations for activities. The room was very pretty and spacious. The bathroom and laundry was large and comfortable. And the kitchen was very useful. Close to a subway and then easy to get to Ueno and Osaka stations. Staying here was one of the highlights of our trip.

Property is ideally situated in the city. The room was big for our family ( 2 adults / 2 children). Everything was really clean. Kumiko and Ozaki were amazing guests, tailoring their advices in fonction of what you want to see/ live to fully have the best experience possible. They took time with us to show us their samurai costumes, discussed with us and helped us to book restaurants. We followed their recommendations and asked for more! We had a wonderful time in Osaka.
