Hostel Overview

Offering free Wi-Fi throughout, a free-use kitchen and a hot public bath with a sauna, 大阪ホテルみかど新今宮駅前 Hotel Mikado is a 2-minute walk from Dobutsumae Subway Station. It provides simple accommodation with shared bathrooms.
Guests can choose among a dormitory-style bunk bed, a private Western room and a private Japanese-style room with traditional futon bedding on a tatami (woven-straw) floor. Private rooms come with an LCD TV, and all rooms have shared toilets.
The lively Dotonbori shopping street is a 15-minute train trip away, and Osaka Castle is about 20 minutes away by train.
Luggage can be stored at the front desk, and there are free-use internet PCs at the lobby. Showers are open 24/7.
No meals are served. Ramen noodles and drinks can be purchased from the on-site vending machines.

Great hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. The bed linen is perfectly clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Quiet both outside and inside the hotel. Nearby is a temple and a market where you can buy souvenirs.

The location is very good, only a short walk to metro and station to airport. The shared area is nice. The bathrooms are very clean and smell nice! This is a great value option for Osaka.

The location was great! 10 minute tube ride to the centre. It has its own onsen (spa facilities - specific times for men and women separately). Just basic but all you need. Beds were very comfy😀 was on the 8th floor and heard nothing but sky.

The location is convenient. Nearby a lot of stores and also train stations. They also provide free bicycle rental which is awesome

The onsen was a nice feature and it was quite. The shower room was more spacious than similar hotels of this type.

Metro very close by as well as many restaurants. Some nice stuff to do around. We only stayed one night here, which was good. It has a good price/quality ratio, but rooms are very small.

There was a public bath and sauna but I did not use them. The pictures of the room are exactly what to expect in terms of size/etc. There is a small table and a mini fridge.
