The staff, particularly the American gentleman on reception (terribly sorry but forgotten your name), was incredible! He was extremely attentive and helpful and on our last day, he escorted us in the shuttle bus to the bus stop, to make sure we found our way to the airport. All the staff were very polite and friendly, it was just a wonderful experience. There were free massage chairs in a room off the lobby that we used daily and the laundry room was easily accessible and easy to use. The hotel was very clean and tidy and this was honestly in our opinion, the best experience we have ever had staying at a hotel… top marks for Hotel 88!

The hotel staff was exceptionally friendly, made every effort to assist with any request and provided detailed answers to every question I had about Osaka. The hotel has a lounge area with tables, free coffee and free soft drinks. This is popular with the guests and many of them having their meals there.

The location was great, close enough to Dotonburi and Namba station while still being nice and quiet. Fantastic service and amenities.

The hotel's location is highly praised for its convenience. Being within walking distance to key attractions like Dotonburi, a convenient store, and the train station. Hotel staff are friendly and helpful. Communication is excellent. The availability of free drinks and light snacks in the lobby is a nice touch and welcoming atmosphere. The complimentary shuttle service to Shin-Osaka for the Shinkansen is a significant perk and relieved especially for us with much luggage.
