Surrounded by 50 hectares of its own vineyards, Locanda Palazzone is just 5 km outside of Orvieto. It features a garden with swimming pool and panoramic countryside views.
Locanda Palazzone is a charming and historic building, built in 1300 in celebration of the first Jubilee. It features spacious suites with original features such as wood-beamed ceilings or wood floors. All air-conditioned, they also feature a comfortable lounge with flat-screen TV, free Wi-Fi and tea and coffee-making facilities.
A buffet breakfast of homemade croissants, cakes and marmalades is served each morning. The restaurant, open on request, serves a fixed menu of Umbrian specialities at dinner.

The customer service is top notch. Tiziana was amazing from the moment I booked this hotel. The rooms are comfortable, and clean. The pool was a great touch for the hot days after sight seeing the area. The food at the restaurant was good. It is a family owned and operated winery and boutique hotel, perfect for a 2 night stay near Orvieto.

What an unusual, beautiful renovation of an ancient building. An excellent repurpose of a property. The whole property is fantastic and our 2 story room had fantastic views. The dinner with the wine tasting was super! The easy distance to town was great too! NOTE: Make SURE you follow their directions, exactly, to get to the property! Our low-slung sports-car thought the road was a little iffy to begin with...but no problem...parking easy. They even have a charging station on the property.
