Functional modern hotel. not the most scenic location but very conveniently placed near ferry port. A nearby train station, Orioste, brings you into the centre of Bilbao in less than 30min. Receptionist very helpful.

Hotel Ortuella was a welcome sight after a long day on the Camino de Santiago. Having walked all day, our priority was rest and recuperation, and Hotel Ortuella perfectly fit the bill. The hotel itself is stylish and modern, with clean and air-conditioned rooms with free Wifi.

Clean and comfortable, with bar/restaurant, good for stopover before catching a ferry. Could catch a suburban train into the centre of Bilbao from close by for sightseeing. Petrol station with shop next door.
