Really enjoyed my stay at Orosi Lodge. It's set in a beautiful spot, and all the little touches were so lovely. The staff were so welcoming, answering any questions I had about my stay in Orosi. Would definitely recommend to stay here - I didn't want to leave!

Expected a semi secluded lodge, arrived at a compact guesthouse at the village corner, but it was a really good experience. Attention to detail, from stylish furniture, non-slippery floors, comfortable design to fresh morning newspaper, quality food and plenty of information about things to do. It was a home feeling because the hosts took care of us with kind attention. Bird feeders, frog basin, but for more birds walk up the street towards the mountain. Romantic nighttime view from your small terrace although the valley looks like a city with lights on all the night. Voice of the masked tree frog at the lodge was a calming addition to the night’s dog-bark soundscape. We loved the excellent Italian restaurant close by.

Location was amazing. Lodge very chilled and the rooms large, clean, comfortable and airy. Nice outside seating area to watch the mountains and the birds who visited the gardens.

Great little hotel which was the perfect oasis to break a long drive. The facilities are immaculate and clean. Everything is so deliberate and precise. Home like and Comfy rooms, super professional and efficient staff.

the bed covers and blankets were very nice and clean Orosi is a beautiful place, exceeding our expectations by a lot, not only this lodge but the location as well

We stayed in the dbl room and the chalet. The room was super nice and cosy, a lovely decor. Unfortunately it was booked for more nights. So we took the chalet which was very spacious and great if you stay longer as it has a kitchen. It wasn't as clean as others have stated. The bedroom has various windows to see the town and mountains from bed which was cool. It comes with a terrace where we watched the birds every day. It's a cool little house. It's very quiet at night. The garden frogs stop before bed time.

Relaxing 4 night stay. Great breakfast. Cute cafe to enjoy coffee and cake. Room very comfortable and modern with lovely views out to Irazú. Garden had plenty of bird life by day and masked tree frog life by night. Great produce and trinkets for sale. Owners and staff v friendly and welcoming and had recommendations for things to do and places to eat. We were sad to leave.
