Kayla S at reception exceeded our expectations. Very friendly, knowledgeable, and professional employee. We were able to check in earlier and were given a great room. Kayla made our stay unforgettable. This is a big resort with 2 swimming pools, bars, restaurants, cinema and even bowling. Within a walking distance to Volcano Bay. There's a regular shuttle bus service to Universals Walk and all parks. We were given a one bedroom suite with a kitchenette. A big bonus was that plastic dishes and cutlery were provided. This was very convenient. Pools were heated to a very comfortable temperature in January. The resort area was clean, cosy and well maintained. Overall we had a fantastic stay in the hotel and definitely recommend it to others.

You won't go wrong choosing Cabana Bay if you're visiting the Universal Theme Parks. It was a great and convenient stay.

Paulette was very helpful, making sure I was doing fine. I liked how the hotel is themed, quick service has everything we need to eat/drink. There is a Starbucks and a gift shop inside the hotel.

We were in Americana building 6. Loved that it was a short walk outside to the pool area with the lazy river. Resort was easy to navigate. Never had to wait long for a bus to the parks. Would definitely stay again. Great value for money.

We liked Cabana Bay. The pools and lazy river were great. The onsite facilities were amazing. Arcade, pools, bowling, shops and the onsite restaurants were all great. Beds were good.

Location is excellent for visiting Universal parks and especially for Volcano Bay since you can walk there. The shuttle busses are frequent enough you're never waiting more than a few minutes for them. We got the room we asked for - which is a bonus - since you don't always get that. The front desk staff were excellent - very polite and accommodating. They offer a contactless checkout - which is very handy. The dining hall is massive and it was never full during our stay. The staff at the Shakes Malt Shoppe were always smiling - and they make the best milkshakes! The lobby is large and doesn't feel crowded even when there are loads of people trying to check in. Parking is plentiful and available for each of the buildings. The rooms and bathrooms are clean, very large, and spacious. There's more than enough space to spread out and feel comfortable. They also come with a mini fridge for essentials and a small two seater dining table. The hotel offers a green cleaning program so you don't have to have cleaning every day if you don't want to. We thought that was a really nice option.

Great location, rooms good size Staff really helpful and knowlegable Easy, frequent free bus to and from the parks Good gym and pool facilities Having starbucks was amazing for a good coffee Kids loved the movies at night around the pool and toasting mellows on the fires Pools open till late was a great idea and kids loves it Access to Volcano bay is ideal Unlimited drinks for kid after buying a cup was great
