The breakfast was very good in the little restaurant. The place was very well situated in nature surroundings next to a lot of trails into the mountain and forest area. And next to turist information. The rooms were newly renovated with nice features and good veiws to the mountains. The owner was kind and helpful.

The location is awesome. A few steps from several hike trails. There are several opportunities nearby: horseback riding, bicycle rental, hike trails, restaurants. The "food spot" gives you the opportunity to eat until 4pm. After that time there is a restaurant (which belong to the same owner) at the nearby campsite. Very good food and very gentle personnel at fair price. The best deed that my wife and I preferred is the option of "salty" breakfast instead of traditional Italian "cappuccino and cornetto": we had omelette and cold cuts which were amazing!! Nearby locations to visit are: Barrea Lake, Opi, San Donato Val di Comino, The national Park of Abruzzo, Cascata delle ninfe, the Camosciara. I definitely recommend this place, we will probably go another time.
