Cozy spot on the island. Great for spending the night. It’s essentially built like a B&B (but no breakfast), with everyone having their own room and shared common areas. Just a ten minute walk from town and the beach.

My sister and I absolutely loved our stay here and being on Waiheke Island. Kiwi House is in a brilliant location and I was blown away by how clean and tidy it was. The bathroom was immaculate! The receptionist very kindly let us check in early (although we would have been happy leaving our luggage at reception if that hadn’t have been an option). The place felt really safe and the kitchen was well equipped for heating up food (toaster and microwave provided). There is also a fridge and we were told we could help ourselves to the milk which was really kind. As a Brit, I was delighted there was also a selection of teas to help ourselves to! The bedroom itself was tidy and the beds comfy. Overall, loved it here and would 100% come back.

Kiwi House was in a great location - very close to the town centre and the bus stop so made getting around really easy. The entire place was beautifully clean and the beds were very comfortable. Would definitely want to stay here again.

Nice, bright & sunny. Communal area looked good, although didn't use it. It suited our purpose. Nothing we didn't like.

Well appointed. Reception staff very pleasant & helpful & allowed us to check in early after we got off the early Ferry. Was very quiet area. Great communication with receptionist. The kitchen was clean & had everything we needed to prepare our own meals.

Ruby who works there is so friendly and helpful! The beds and pillows were really comfortable, and there is a small kitchen (i.e. toaster, kettle, fridge, microwave and sink only with some cutlery). The house is a 6-minute walk from Little Oneroa Beach which is such a beautiful spot to watch the sunrise/set and go for a swim; and all bus routes are within a 4-6 minute walk.
