I have some dietary requirements and I was well catered for. To my surprise when I sat down for my first meal, the server already knew my restrictions from an email sent months before. I had tips and advice on walks including an idea of how I could hike the Samaria Gorge if it was closed on my intended day. I got lucky on my intended day. On the day of my departure I was waiting for the bus and was given a coffee while I waited even though I'd checked out.

This is the perfect place to stay if you want to visit the Samaria Gorge. It's a family run hotel, they know everything about the walks in the area. The rooms are basic, but everything you need is available. Breakfast is fresh and more than enough. Diner is also very good. The staff is very friendly and helpfull. We had a great stay!
