It is not hotel standard but definitely worth the highest rating. Towels,hot shower, delicious meals. Breathtaking views. Hospitable, helpful and cordial familij.

Food - amazing (local Khinkali cooked in front of us just like it has been throughout centuries). Hospitality - above charts (we were complete strangers, yet were greeted as family or close friends). Location - secluded paradise on earth (to this day you can only get here on foot or on horseback). People - heartwarming, super friendly (impossible to not fall in love with them). Views - fantastic (alpine valleys, pristine forests, snow-covered mountains, beautiful villages). Air - as fresh and crystal clear as it gets (slept like a baby). Stories - emotional and deep (you experience history of the place firsthand). Aura - idyllic (peaceful, calming, regenerating). Birds - for those into birdwatching (black redstart, red-fronted serin, common rosefinch, dunnock and others).

Authentic Georgian highland guesthouse, on the greatest location you can imagine. It is hours of walking from the nearest parking place, but the host offers horse riding to help you. The services are far on the pure side, but you get all you need after a long hiking day. Hot shower at the wooden heated bathroom, delicious diner made of local, mainly handcrafted ingredients, Sokrat’s chacha with tarragon. This comes with the warm hearted hosting, where you feel that you are the guest of a family, not a guesthouse. The family sits around the table together with you. The 360 degrees panoramic view is breathtaking. If you are looking for the faceless comfort of a five star hotel, this is not your place. If you prefer the hosting of a loving family, you can’t find better.
