The fine print
Based on local tax laws, Peruvian citizens (and foreigners staying more than 59 days in Peru) must pay an additional fee of 18%. To be exempt from this 18% additional fee (IVA), a copy of the immigration card and passport must be presented.Please note both documents are required for fee exemption. Guests who are not able to present both documents will be required to pay the fee.Foreign business travellers who require a printed invoice, will also be charged the additional 18% regardless of the length of their stay in Peru. This fee is not automatically calculated in the total costs for the reservation.

We stayed here on two seperate occasions and both times the staff were lovely and helpful. They let us leave our large bags overnight while we went up to Agua Calientes for free and we're very accommodating. 5 mins from town and 5 mins from the train station-great location.

Lovely location, staff and great sized rooms. Everything very clean. Amazing staff who let us leave our large bags while we went up to Agua Calientes and MP. Very helpful and very close to station, archaeological site and main town square.

An excellent hotel, just far enough from the main square that you don't get disturbed by what's going on there. It's also convenient for the railway station. The staff were friendly and I thought my bed was particularly comfortable.

We used the hotel as our base for exploring the Sacred Valley and visiting Machu Picchu. Spend three nights. Comfortable stay with the location being great. Views of surrounding mountains, the ruins and a lovely garden. Also 5-minute walk to train station. Breakfast was better than described in previous posts.

Excellent accommodation! Location was amazing for getting the train from Ollantaytambo early for the KM104 hike. The room was also very big, clean, good water pressure and we had a view out to the garden of the alpacas.
