Amazing place to stay. Great view high up in the mountains. The facility has a pick up service and also brings you back to town as it is located remotely. Food is very good and there is small farm with animals walking around (Alpaca, Guinee pigs, cats, etc). Accommodation itself is also great and has a dome upstairs if you want to see the stars. We also got a free upgrade to a larger room with jacuzzi which was great

This was one of the most magical experiences of our entire trip. Not only was the view and location very special, but the fact that they have such an important social cause that they are attached to was incredibly important. Being so high up and watching the stars at night was magical. If you are looking for a place to see the stars and take a moment for yourself, spend a night here. You will always remember it.

Stardome exceeded all our expectations. The driver collected us from Ollantaytambo and dropped us off at the station so we could just sit back and enjoy the scenery without any worries. Everything was perfect for us, from the amazing staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcome, comfortable rooms, good organic food, and the breathtaking views. We were able to walk up to another spectacular viewpoint, the Condor, and saw the animals running around. In the morning, we lay in bed watching the sun start to appear through the clouds (it was like sleeping in the clouds at times). Then we spent the afternoon in the jacuzzi just staring out at the views before drying off by the open fire in the robes and slippers provided by Stardome. Does life get any better?

The setting of Stardome is on a mountainside overlooking the sacred valley, and the views and environment is relaxing, inspiring and breathtaking. From the little details in the rooms, to the delicately cared for gardens, and spots for taking it all in, the wonderful restaurant, the animals...it is all so rejuvenating. And the staff are present when needed, encouraging and patient with the situations that arise. We did not want to leave.

Great location if you're visiting Macchu Picchu for a day or two. It's located near Ollantaytambo train station. Ask Virginia to organise transport to the hotel as it's high up in the mountains in a spectacular spot, fabulous for star gazing! This accommodation is amazing! It's a little tricky to get to so make sure you organise with Virginia to get picked up from the main town Ollantaytambo or even from Cusco airport. It's very clean, amazing food and on clear nights, you can star gaze.

Staying at the Stardome was an incredible experience! The property itself is really what makes your stay so memorable. We had some of the best views we've ever experienced in Peru from every angle of the property. The surrounding gardens were beautiful, with hummingbirds buzzing around the flowers at all hours of the day. Virginia and her staff are so attentive - they're great communicators and make some of the freshest food in the area! Breakfast is included in the stay, and dinner was very reasonably priced. While the rooms leave a little bit to be desired, the experience of being at Stardome more than makes up for it. We can't wait to come back!
