It has loads of old town charm, beautiful tiles and lots of character. The roof terraces are fabulous

Location was in the old part of Olhao. Narrow cobbled streets, old fishermen cottages that are biggthan appear. Very quiet and peaceful. Our welcome by Rose was very warm and welcoming. Very helpful with local knowledge. Breakfast plentiful and the traditional Christmas bread/cake an added treat. We were lucky to have the top floor room with a wonderful balcony, bit chily at Christmas though. Shared use of the Kitchen was a bonus.

Gino went above and beyond to make sure I was satisfied with the stay. He was also kind in allowing baggage storage and use of other facilities after check out.

My partner and I had a wonderful time at Rose&Gino's guest house and we would recommend it to anyone who appreciates a homely atmosphere and lots of useful tips on visiting local attractions and travelling around Ohloa. Our room was well equipped and we had tasty breakfast at the top of the building. What's not to like!

The location was unique, otherwise there were few problems with parking, which is to be expected for the old town. Both Gino and Rose are exceptional hosts. The breakfast is to lick your fingers. We will be back.

Cosy guesthouse in the heart of Olhão, not far from the ferry port with links to stunning beaches, like Armona, which looked like the Caribbean!! Gino made us feel like family, we felt very at home there. The breakfast was divine, it was freshly prepared and we had it on the roof, which is a fair climb but totally worth it for the view and ambiance. The bed and pillow were super comfy.
