Great location, fun to be right next to the lock on the canal and not far to walk to pubs and restaurants. Lovely to have milk in the fridge and some biscuits on arrival. Very warm and cosy. We made use of the washing machine. The house was well stocked with kitchen equipment and clean (apart from a couple of things mentioned below).

Everything was perfect, with all amenities that would be needed available. Our little American family were besotted with this beautiful little cottage and enjoyed their stay. The surrounding countryside was beautiful and in the future we would consider this place first :)

The cottage has been beautifully refurbished into a stylish yet practical and comfortable home. It was surprisingly spacious and well provisioned with utensils, crockery, towels etc. We also appreciated that there was a stairgate installed, and children’s crockery set available.
