Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast superb. Room was warm and comfortable. Personally I prefer a shower cubicle rather than over the bath but that is just me and certainly not a complaint. We visited friends in the area and defiantly we will return. Thank you all

One of the nicest B&Bs I ever stayed in! Absolutely gorgeous! Stunning mansion, beautiful rooms, glorious views and a fantastic location. Lots of walks and wonderful places to see close by. Super friendly and helpful staff. If you want to escape the world for a few days, look no further!

I think the easy of check in, the surroundings, the functionality of everything really. The check in was so easy, I was checked in as soon as I arrived, albeit early. My room had everything you'd expect from a functional lodge with good array of tea and coffee

We had such a lovely welcome from the host that created a relaxed atmosphere for our stay. The cooked breakfast came fast and was really high quality and the perfect portion sizes - I.e. not excessive. Our room was comfortable, clean, nice temperature and I appreciated the bottles of water that were provided. The location was perfect for walks on North West Dartmoor. We didn't have time to try the lounge and the bar but would love to next time. Lovely historic building.
