The location is absolutely perfect. The beach is on your doorstep. Couldn't ask for a better spot. The room is comfy, clean, and the perfect size for a weekend getaway. The kitchen is nicely stocked with cooking items, the fridge has ample space for food, and the A/C was so nice, especially at night.

We loved the location and tranquility. Just a short hop over the hill to Whakatane. The beach is so beautiful and safe for swimming. The accommodation was well appointed clean and tidy. Lis and I had a wonderful stay.

On the beach, well laid out to where each motel had its own private garden area, laundry facilities, free parking at the door, boards available for surfing, air conditioning if needed

2nd time of staying here - simple motel with super clean rooms, fantastic location opposite gorgeous Ohope beach and dog friendly. Nice touches with cookies and chocolates left in the fridge.

From the first meet & greet by host Wanda and being shown two units to choose from (we chose unit 3) and could hear the waves - to the location directly opposite the beautiful Ohope beach - we loved everything about our weekend away. We chose it because it is dog friendly - but this place suits all travellers!

Beach just across the road was great and the chairs and table you had set up there were lovely to sit with a glass of wine in the afternoon and watch the surfers.
