Absolutely lovely location, the views were beautiful and we were looked after very well. Breakfast and dinner were delicious every day. We walked directly from the hotel some days, and others they arranged a Tuk Tuk to drop us where we wanted to go.

The location and the hosts are truly great. They are very patient and extremely helpful. Here you can enjoy amazing views in an impressive setting, near Horton Plains and other walking routes.

The views, the location, the mountains, the teaplantages, the hiking around the estate, the awesome location. The great service. The friendly staff. The comfortable room with a very comfortable bed. Really, there is not much wrong with this place. It's peaceful and it's quiet. You can easily spend a couple of days or more in this area.

Wonderful location on a tea estate, with fantastic views through the Ohiya gap (cloud permitting). Exceptionally friendly and helpful staff. Very nice food. Room simple but comfortable. Hot water in shower. Good base for walking in the surrounding area (weather permitting!).

Super comfortable and quiet highly reccomend. Im sure the views amazing but it was cloudy when we were there so we couldnt see. Great food as well. Really great.

Spectacular location with fantastic walking on stages 11 and 12 of Pekoe trail. Lodge was fabulous with wonderful views from the balcony of our room. All the staff were very friendly and helpful in answering any questions and suggestions walks. Breakfast and dinner were delicious and we enjoyed tea every morning on our balcony.

We were walking the Pekoe Train and Hill Safari is the most perfect resting spot along the way. It only involves a short walk from the actual trail. We loved the isolation and beauty of the setting. Our room had wonderful views across the valley and we were surrounded by a well nurtured tea estate and a beautiful garden. The manager and his team could not have looked after us better. We were given the most excellent home cooked meal, it was quite delicious. We were made to feel so welcome and well cared for. We would highly recommend Hill Safari for walkers, or even those with transport, who just want to relax in a beautifully secluded spot.

The location is superb. The villa can sit up above the clouds, and you feel you could be transported back into the past as you look over the tea plantations. Stephen is the most incredibly helpful host, making you feel really welcome and at the home. The food is simple but delicious. The gardens are beautifully planted and maintained

Absolutely amazing setting with incredible views from the room. It’s super peaceful and a joy to listen to all the birds. All the staff are excellent and Steven the manager was a great host and gave me excellent advice on hikes nearby and onward travel. Breakfast very good and the two vegetarian dinners I ate there were excellent.

Beautiful location even if a bit difficult to get there, very tasty local food both dinner and breakfast. Great spot if doing the Pekoe trail.
