So much space for such a good price! Felt very cozy, and had a nice little backyard to boot. Location is close enough to the town centre, but delightfully quiet and rural. As a bonus, there were laundry facilities free of charge for this unit type. Was much, much needed after a long trip through Taupō with limited access to that sort of thing.

Big space for the money spent. Kitchen well supplied and milk the fridge. Good shower and great location. Didn't meet any staff but had note and easy check in.

Extremely comfy and well set up apartment. Well equipped kitchen. Owners were friendly and responsive (off-site neighbours were noisy and the owners resolved it within minutes).

- location, being right in the middle of both ends of town, we enjoyed walking end to end having our motel in the middle. - staff were fun and humorous on our entry. Made for a great first impression - the wooden layout of the motel - was a quiet and peaceful area of Ohakune

The cleanliness was OK. The kitchen was good; however, it could use a quick review of the pots. We were unlucky in using a broken cooking pot, which we did not realise until it was a bit late, but we fixed the situation. As for the hot water, the first shower was tricky, trying to get the proper water temperature and pressure, but later, everything went smoothly.

The chalet was warm and clean, and the shared drying room was useful. We arrived about 6pm, and the hosts had turned on the heating for us which was really appreciated. We were only there one night so it met our needs.
