Location, cleanliness, breakfast and hosts. All make Obidos Patio House an incredible stay. Within the castle walls, it is close to all Obidos has to offer. The room was comfortable, bright and spotless as was the entire house. The breakfast was generous and delicious with many options, you will be set for the day. Wine and snacks (including the ginja upon arrival) were lovely and appreciative gestures. Cecilia and Giberto (hope this is spelled correctly) are absolutely lovely and went over and beyond to make our stay a memorable one.

We loved our stay at Obidos Patio House! Our hosts made us feel really at home. The room is clean, cosy, and really cute and everything worked well. We also loved the really generous breakfast (we ate till we were stuffed). For drivers, don’t worry about Google Maps saying it takes 8 minutes to walk in from the free parking outside the city walls. You will just need to cross the road and pass through the wall at Porta da Vila, go down the road on the right and you’re there! It’ll take you less than five minutes.

The couple who run this property are amazing- so hospitable and couldn’t do enough for you. The room is cosy and the accommodation is inside the walls making it very atmospheric.

If you want to spend your time at an authentic "obidian" home, with all the modern comfort and an outstanding warm welcoming from your hosts, then do not look further! The only thing that they cannot do for you, is to extend the walls of their house being under UNESCO protection. About the breakfast, most of the Pousadas we visited on our trip, are beaten hands down!

The hospitality was beyond amazing. The breakfast was delicious and very filling and the property was lovely - traditional with modern conveniences. The hosts were the best part of the experience - they could not have been more wonderful.

Óbidos Pátio House is an incredibly cozy home, where you can truly feel the warmth and care. The hosts are very friendly and kind-hearted, making you feel right at home. The location is perfect, with all the main attractions within walking distance. The breakfast was absolutely delicious, with local products and attention to detail. We would love to come back again!
