Hotel Overview

Set in a 14th-century municipal house, this small hotel offers free Wi-Fi and an outdoor swimming pool with views of Óbidos' castle walls. The air-conditioned rooms are decorated in a historical concept.
Each room includes wooden furniture, a cable TV and private bathroom. All the rooms are non-smoking.

The staff were all excellent very helpful and cheerful. The lady that worked in the breakfast room was most helpful and very efficient. The quality of breakfast and choices were exceptional.

The medieval feel of this hotel fits right in with the castle above it. Every detail has been thought of! Everything is clean and comfortable, parking under the hotel was super convenient. Bed was comfortable, room was large, breakfast was delicious with a large selection to choose from. Location to the castle was perfect. Staff was super friendly and the welcome drink at the fireplace was perfect. We'll be back for sure!

Nice hotel in good location, difficult to find on google maps, but once there all good. Breakfast was okay, couldn’t even pay extra for a cappuccino only filtered coffee.

The best way to describe this place is “quaint”. It’s a lovely old building with great views and from which you can easily explore the magnificent city of Obidos. Inside it’s a mock medieval museum full with costumes and artifacts which seem to be hauled straight from a film studio’s warehouse, which gives it a theme park vibe. Boomers like me will feel nostalgic in this hotel, because the furniture and even the breakfast is 1970s vintage. Its all kept in pristine condition, though. The Standard Room is small, but inside and outside there’s plenty room to chill. The staff seem to genuinly enjoy their job. The Free Parking and the pool are a real plus.

The staff were friendly and the facilities excellent. The pool, although fairly small, was great. The terrace was a lovely outdoor space with a stunning view. My sons really enjoyed playing pool in the games room.
