I’m really glad We chose this side of the lake instead of the crowded Hallstatt. Mark is genuinely a kind person, and it’s clear that his hospitality isn’t just because we were paying guests. The room was clean, the bathroom and shower were excellent, and the breakfast was outstanding, featuring homemade sweets and bread. 10/10!

A lovely property and excellent location to visit Hallstatt and surrounding areas. Mark and his wife were very hospitable and everything was well presented. Private parking was convenient and the views of the lake and surrounding mountains were amazing. Unfortunately we got the side room with partial views but thats because it was a last minute booking. Next time will book the lake facing rooms with a balcony

Everything was great! Free car parking spaces, free refreshments (coffee, tea and biscuits), cozy living room, very clean spaces, comfortable room with terrace right in front of the stunning views of Hallstatt. Lovely guests! We were only there just to rest and sleep from our long trip and leave very early for the next journey. Mark, the host, even suggested to schedule the breakfast at a much earlier time just to accommodate us! What more could I ask for? Would definitely book here again on my next stay at Hallstatt. Worth every penny.

We liked the Haus Salzkammergut very much. It's very near to Hallstatt. Our room was spacious and warmly designed. A very tasty breakfast is served by the owner Mark. It's view is wonderful from the breakfast/living room.

We had an amazing stay! The room was spotless and well-maintained, making us feel comfortable from the moment we arrived. The hosts were exceptionally kind and welcoming, always ready to help with any questions we had. The view from the room was stunning and really added to the experience. An unforgettable memory. Thank you so much for the hospitality. I consider ourselves very lucky to stay there and will definitely go there again. Amazing location and the view to the lake is spectacular. Mark is a very helpful man, he patiently explained everything we needed to know about Hallstatt, how to go around, detailed timings of public transport and therefore helped us to plan much better and use our time best during our stay. Thank you!
