Hotel Overview

Just a 2-minute walk from Oberammergau Train Station, this family-run hotel features a pretty garden terrace, a breakfast room and free on-site parking. It is great base for exploring the Bavarian Alps.

Friendly family run bed and breakfast in an excellent location in a lovely tourist town. Near to good quality walks and the sky slopes. Breakfast was simple but good quality bread rolls. Parking out front was ideal for us, and we were able to sit outside in the garden to read a book as well. Bathroom small but very clean with good shower.

Surprisingly enough, the owner was speaking French. He was vey helpful and made us feel like home. The breakfast was excellent with all you want to eat to start the day. The place was only 15 minutes ride from Garmisch where we wanted to go for two days, therefore ideal location. A lot of restaurants are available by walking distance. Overall, a lovely stay. We highly recommend this place !

The host is a marvelous person and his attention to the guests is exceptional. He was waiting for us as we were late due to the heavy rains in the south of Bavaria. We were enjoying the warmth of the room, built up with an efficient heating system, as outside temperatures were very low for the beginning of June. I wish him all the best and hope to see him back soon. Thank you Otto! On related topics very close to Otto’s place there is an alpine coaster which can be of great joy (see attached images). We went up with the chairlift and we took a walk back which we loved so much, especially our 🐩. BTW, Otto is a pet friendly property, therefore do not hesitate to book it if you’re bringing your own pet.👏
