The Owner met us at the front door, was very friendly and gave us a great in-site into the town, its attractions, bars and restaurants to suit our requirements. The recommendations were excellent. Our room was on the ground floor and was immaculately equipped and decorated.

Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Room was decorated nicely and very clean and the hosts also left us a bottle of champagne as we were celebrating an anniversary.

All of the amenities were just right, room was clean and cozy and the hosts were wonderfully helpful and guided us toward a great place to eat, and a great hike.

The location was excellent as it was in close proximity to the Corran hall. Facilities in the room were excellent. The room was quiet with no noise from traffic outside

The Rose Villa couldn't be faulted. It offered a warm personal welcome, good facilities, imaginative, fun decor, spotlessly clean and comfortable accommodation and small details like complimentary Tunnock's Teacakes and Irn Bru at reception! It's in a handy location for fine places to eat and is only a few minutes walk up from Oban Station and the ferry terminal at the Bay. Even if you are one of those people determined to nit-pick - the sort who may complain about pigeon droppings on a window ledge, just to write some content in your review - you would be hard pressed to find anything to denigrate here.

The host was more than willing to take care of our bags even though we arrived long before check in. She was very friendly and helpful. The room was huge and comfortable.

Check-in was a breeze - very helpful and chatty hosts. Room was spotless and the doona/duvet/bedding was extra comfortable. Private bathroom was next door to my room. Enjoyed every night here. Free parking available outside the door from 6pm-9am (visited October and the street parking was never full).
