Awesome stay here, the owner is very friendly and funny. He even accompanied me by car in the center of city and gave me some recommendations. I slept well and the breakfast was delicious, would definitely come back !

My parents and I stayed here for the first time this week. Our host was so helpful and went out of his way to ensure we were looked after. We were impressed at the fairness he showed even to guests who were not respectful of staff or the property. I would advise people looking at this guesthouse to read the honest reviews from guests who genuinely reflect on their stay and experience. Unfortunately not all reviewers give an honest review. We witnessed guests this week who behaved appallingly then left a negative review of Greencourt when staff behaved professionally and considerately. This was unfair and not an honest reflection of the quality of service being offered by our host. Their business does not deserve to suffer because of badly behaved guests and their ability to leave a review without thinking of the consequences for guesthouse hosts trying to make an honest living. Thank you again for having us and we will certainly be staying again on one of our regular visits to Oban! 🙂

We received a very warm welcome from our hosts, Tony and Elsa. We were given a choice of rooms, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The room was well equipped, clean, warm and comfortable. It was a short walk to the town centre, where we found the Cuan Mor restaurant. Good food, not overpriced and a good selection of gluten free options. Breakfast at the Guest House was served from 8.00 to 8.30, but it was worth getting up a bit earlier than we would have chosen for an excellent breakfast. A pleasant stay and very good value.
