Homestays Overview

Situated within a 10-minute walk of Glencruitten Golf Course and Oban town centre, Glenavon is a family run homestay with room-only accommodation.
Each room has a satellite TV with a DVD player and a radio alarm clock. All rooms feature a private sink, and there is a shared bathroom downstairs. The family room can accommodate an additional bed for a child.
Some free on-street parking is available, or on-site parking is available at an additional charge.

The room can accommodate up to 2 adults and 1 child, with a double bed and a folding bed for a child. This room has a shared bathroom. The folding bed is only for a child and cannot be prepared in advance.

The fine print
There is a surcharge for check-in out of the standard check-in times. Early/late check-in must be agreed before a booking is made as it is subject to availability. A credit card and a photo ID should be showed on check-in. Guests must give Glenavon their estimated time of arrival to avoid delays and or cancellation. Check-in and key collection is from The Palace Hotel on production of your booking form and photo ID. Refreshments are not included in the room rate but are available for a fixed donation to the charity of Glenavon's choice. Food and drinks purchased elsewhere are not permitted within the building.Please inform in advance of your expected arrival time. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly with the contact details provided in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo identification and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. This property will not accommodate hen, stag or similar parties.

actually i ended up staying at the ‘little hotel’ at the invitation of my host because there was a room free
