Very welcoming greeting on arrival with a fabulous guided tour from Steve, encouraged to explore the castle, which has kept its authenticity with so many interesting features. Cozy and relaxed atmosphere on a very grand setting.

I really like the atmosphere, location and the work that people had done on this castle, really lovely to read the history on this property. Staff were really friendly and helpful. Our room was amazing and really well thought out and was very in keeping with the castle our room also had a secret - That I am not going to divulge. You will have to stay and find out!! Breakfast was cooked fresh with lots of choice to choose from.

Breakfast was excellent in a lovely setting in the Great Hall. There was tea, coffee, a variety of juices, fruit, yogurt, and warm croissants, in addition to eggs made to order.

A fabulous cooked breakfast served by very friendly staff in a genuinely old castle. The original spiral staircase serves all floors with a dressing room in an old turret. It was blissfully quiet and atmospheric enhanced by the relentless Scottish rain and mist.
