very nice location, big and clean room which was well equiped. The Staff were very helpful in providing options for things to see and helped arrange a driver who spoke English for a tour.

Breakfast has a few nice, local options. The windowless room was recently renovated. Simple design but clean and a comfortable bed. The lack of a window meant the room was quiet most of the time, although the open courtyard of the original house means noise travels a little bit. Great location just minutes walking from the zócalo.

The location of this hotel could not be better. It is one block off the main zocalo, so it is surrounded by restaurants, shopping, beautiful churches, and museums. The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, and very clean. I would 100% stay here again.

The breakfast was very good with many options. It was actually better than other restaurants and less expensive also. The only was complaint that only white sliced bread was offered instead of the wonderful Mexican breads. The water that came out of the shower was cold. (I suspect that it comes from a storage tank on the roof so that the was could be very hot in hotter months and cool in cold months, but I don't know for certain as I didn't ask or complain. It was not so cold that I couldn't shower. The staff is very friendly and helpful.

I wish every hotel in the world was like Hotel Casona Oaxaca. The hotel is very clean, the location is perfect, the rooms are beautiful and the staff is super friendly, the receptionist Nancy is doing an exceptional work (she helped me in an unexpected situation although it was out of her scope). I recommend everyone to stay in this hotel :)
