Heather the owner met us right on the dot and showed us the room, where to park and where to eat in the area. The view from the balcony over Oamaru waterfront is nice even if it is not by the shore. Very close to the Victorian quarter and city center but far from the traffic noises. Suitable for a couple or single traveler only.

Beautiful view of the Pacific ocean, from a nice private deck. Great location to walk to the old city, just down the hill, and also visit the seals and penguins, on the pier. Easy walking area.

Super clean, comfy bed, quiet, private with a lovely view. Tucked away behind a main residence. Easy walking distance to the tourist area... eg. restaurants, Steampunk HQ & galleries. We loved our short stay. Host, Heather, was very easy to communicate with & left little treats for us. Thanks!

We absolutely loved the view and having bubbly , snacks and breakfast on the deck. The host Heather was so lovely and very accommodating. Bed was comfy, shower was great. The location was perfect being close to the old precinct and the harbour. We absolutely loved our stay.

What a pleasant surprise to see this cosy little unit at the back of the main house. Very modern place which had been decorated very well. We had the pleasant surprise of having a lovely view of the harbour from our balcony which was a great asset for a property placed up on a hill. We were very happy to have stayed here and hoped to return in the not too distant future. We thoroughly enjoyed the visit to the penguin colony, late in the evening, and saw nearly two hundred of these beautiful creatures return home from the sea.
