An excellent boarding facility, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The hosts were very friendly and accommodating, the bed was so good and the small side room and ensuite was more than acceptable. Excellent parking on site. We loved the ambiance of the bedroom the wall paintings and unique fittings were exquisite.

Location - easy walking distance to main shopping area, walking distance to Victorian precinct, easy walk to good cafes and restaurants. Good shower & bed. Peaceful garden setting. Hosts really helpful - asked what I wanted to do/see and gave great suggestions especially for good coffee and dining; many thanks 😊 The photos on Booking.com are accurate. Definitely recommend Mereybrook Studio.

Perfectly clean and welcoming accommodation - bathroom was spotless. What made it particularly special was the amazing paintings on the bedroom walls- just stunningly beautiful pictures that made was feel transported to another world.

The hosts Gary and Trish were so lovely and welcoming. The room was unique with Trish’s artwork on the walls. Very comfortable bed and lovely bathroom.

Bed was very comfy and warm. Didn’t need any heating at night. Skilful Artwork was lovely around the room. Gary and Trish were very welcoming and informative, giving us a little tour of their sprawling property.

We had a wonderful stay at Merrybrook Studio. The house is beautifully decorated and equipped with everything you need. Very clean and tidy. The hosts Trish and Gary are such a lovely couple. They made us feel warmly welcome and showed us around the house including Trish’s Art studio and Gary’s wood craft space. There are also some cute sheep and hens at the backyard. It is also close to the town centre. Thanks Trish and Gary for hosting us.
