A great hotel in a lovely location, surrounded by some fabulous countryside. Room was great and really good value. Good food and again good value too. Most of the staff were brilliant, just a couple that weren't quite so welcoming or jolly. If I'm in the area again Nunsmere will be where I stay.

Lovely staff. Room needed paint touch ups. Lampshades need changing as worn. Very poor choice of food in restaurant. Went into bar instead for pub grub. Average food. Service charge added each time you went to the bar although drinks not brought over to you. This was optional though. We were considering having a weekend with family but not for us. Garden area beautiful as we sat outside the having drinks. As already mentioned, staff lovely but I won’t be revisiting.

Size of rooms& view. One room had been up dated & was superb. The second room was old @ tired but comfortable. Food was good& staff very friendly & efficient. The grounds were beautifully kept . Would come again.

The breakfast was fine, fully English or continental were offered. We had the fully English one piece of bacon, one sausage, black pudding tomato, egg, one large mushroom hash brown and beans with a round of toast. The room we booked was a junior suit, which was huge nice view of the grounds and lake. The bed was huge. Good selection of tea and coffee the room along with bottled water. The room although clean, could had done with a deep clean. Few hanging cobwebs and stains on the furniture. The bathroom was lovely and big with a huge bath and a separate shower. The toilet cistern lid had been smashed and glued back together at some point but otherwise worked perfectly well. The towels were lovely and soft, shower gel smelt lovely. Bath robes and slipper were a nice touch. Plenty of parking too.

Love this hotel and have stayed here many times. We always have a fab stay. Homely, comfortable and clean with friendly and helpful staff.

We had a Junior suite which was very spacious and comfortable. The hotel and grounds are lovely and represents good value. Breakfast was truly wonderful!
