What a lovely inn! The rooms were comfortable and clean. Had dinner in the restaurant and it was delicious and great value for money. The ale pie was fantastic. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast included was a brilliant start to the day. Would definitely visit again if I was in the area.

Very comfy room. The staff were very accommodating. Even though the kitchen was closed for the night they offered us Sunday lunch which we didn’t need so they offered to make us sandwiches for the evening. Great location in a lovely village.

Stay here regularly. Always a great welcome with lovely staff and comfy clean rooms .. Great home cooked food and breakfasts are divine . Chris , Yolanda and Team run a fantastic home from home …

Very comfortable, staff were attentive and polite. Food and service excellent. Perfect stopover for business trip with excellent Wi-FI connection. Left early and missed breakfast so they prepared a packed version for me.

Very friendly staff, dog friendly and accommodating of later arrival, booking a table in restaurant just before kitchen closing. Food very good and great value.

The breakfast was well cooked. The Landlord went the extra mile to make us some delicious sandwiches in the evening when food is not usually available after we had been to a fueral.
