Lovely room and beautiful surroundings. Very quiet area, bar closes early but that didn't bother us as we came for a peaceful trip. Breakfast was delicious and plenty of choice and the room was just wonderful. We stayed in the Hambleton. Bed very comfy!

Room was lovely and staff just amazing . Given it closed at 4.30 there is nowhere to have a drink or food . We were actually the only guest staying so totally on our own in the evening no one in the grounds so a little eerie and isolating , needs a bar in the evening in winter . Breakfast amazing the best we have had and the staff couldn’t do enough for us so lovely so thank you . Little Pricey given no facilities in evenings . We paid for deluxe king which was nice . Just needs few more facilities it just has golfers . Courtyard be nice in the summer . We have stayed in the cottage previously which we loved .

The breakfast was cooked on demand and had a great selection. The room was a great size and had views over the golf course down to Rutland water. The staff really went beyond expectations and delayed breakfast so we could complete the Rutland park run. We will be back again when in the area.

Very comfortable room. Quiet, tastefully decorated and warm. Ideally sited for exploring the area. Really friendly staff. Fantastic breakfast. Would we stay there again? Every time - no question.

Lovely room and large bathroom. Quiet location and easy to get to the water for walks. Nice pub (The Wheatsheaf) in next village for evening meal. Exceptional breakfast, very generous portions!
