On arrival the lovely owners showed us to our room. Lovely building, beautiful views. Unfortunately location is not good, very near lake Gregory but difficult to access due to road layout. Tuktuk easy to get on PickMe and cheap but seems awkward to locate. Not very central if you do want to walk. Shower room clean and nice towels. Some mould on high ceilings. WiFi not the best. Owners offered to organise any transport to surrounding tea plantations or hikes but some of these quite far and we decided not to want to drive about the winding roads much more. We were provided the mostly lovely breakfast with a huge selection of food and the staff were all so friendly and kind.

The staff was amazing. They were super friendly and helpful and the food was good. We got the room with a mountain view but it wasn't much of a view and the room was very small. Only thing that was exceptional was a staff and their service.

The Bungalow is beautiful, and lies in an idyllic place! The views and the garden are special. The caretaker is wonderful, supper attentive and helpful, and makes delicious pancakes for breakfast. Besides that, the structural part of the place needs some work. There is no sound isolation, so you can hear everything, from the first prayers at 5:30, guests getting out of their rooms and breakfast preparations to the cheerful and loud dance music by the lakeside in the evening until midnight. The bathroom smeels like sewage although it’s clean, water gets cold before the second of us finishes the shower in spite of closing it while lathering, there is a super weird hole connecting the shower floor to the rest of the bathroom that lets the water run everywhere (attemped to close it with a water bottle) and when it rained there was water flowing down the bathroom wall :/

The property has a lovely shared lounge/ kitchen with a stunning view. Not all bedrooms are lake view, mine was not. The property is clean and spacious. The staff are kind and attentive and offered to book me a tuk tuk into town, I stayed in however due to the weather. My room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast is served Sri Lankan style and was very good and a great price. Lovely views whilst enjoying it.

We stayed for one night and loved the great views on the lake from our room. The hotel is spacious, and the host is very welcoming and friendly. We were given some great advice for dinner option in Nuwara Eliya.

The view from the Bungalow is wonderful, overlooking the lake and lovers leap waterfall. The excellent service from Joseph and Saman, breakfast was delicious.
