It surpassed my expectations as I paid around $12 for a night stay. Room had all the basic amenities and was provided tissue roll with a clean towel. Both washroom and room were cleaned and seemed newly furbished. There is a good sitting area inside and outside the hotel. Location is very ideal as well. All the fun stuff is at walking distance. Staff was pretty cooperative and responsive as well.

Gopi who heads the front desk is a very knowledgeable and friendly person. I riddled him with questions and he was most helpful. The room isn't modern with it being an old heritage style building but it makes up with being very spacious. With limited time there.. I wasn't in the room as much, but the staff woke up around 4am to make me coffee because I was headed to Hortons plains to see the worlds end cliff. I told them they didn't have to but they simply went the extra mile.

The room was spacious and nice. It was within walking distance to the bus stop. The receptionist arranged a tuk-tuk drive for me. Overall I would recommend this accommodation!

It was kind of old-fashioned but that was part of its charm. I really loved my stay there and the staff were very nice and helpful. The mattress was the best I've slept on in Sri Lanka with a nice cozy blanket for the colder climate that Nuwara Eliya has.
