We stayed only one night, but would gladly extend our stay in this hotel. The interior is very well thought out, we felt like it had a touch of a country house. We felt very welcomed, staff is very profesional and so nice. Especially to our children (3 years and 5 months). Facilities are clean and beds are comfy. Loved the calm music in the dinning area. Breakfast was delicious, they even gave some cereals and milk to our little one. Would definitely recomend this place.

Warm welcome with tea and home made cake at check- in. The room was very clean and had a spacious bathroom. Kettle, hairdryer and a plug in heater was provided (as it was quite cold at night ). The bed had a warm quilt as well. Good breakfast (fruit, omelette, Toast …) . I had fried rice with vegetables for dinner which was very good. A lunch box was provided with sandwiches, fruit water and juice as I left early to Horton Plain. Steve and his team were kind and made me feel like at home . All in all a great experience. Highly recommended .

Malinda and Steven were absolutely amazing - Such warm and helpful hosts and super responsive to all your queries and needs. Great breakfast and in-house meals as well. Also, whould you need any help with transportation or recommendations, Malinda is just the man to look for.

The room and bathroom were both spacious and maintained in an impecable condition. The quality of materials used in the construction of the hotel was of very high quality, whether it be furniture, bathroom fittings, lighting or electrical sockets. The linen was also spotlessly clean and soft to the touch. The staff was exceedingly polite, courteous and helpful. The breakfast of of good quality albeit limited in options.

The chef at Queensland hotel was really good. Steve went out of his way to ensure that the tastes of the food was exceptional. The location was really good with a nice view. Even though it was at the center of the city, the surrounding calm made us feel as though it was far away. The manager Malinda was a very nice gentleman who made our stay exceptionally comfortable and very accomodating. He set us up with a driver Mr. Chandrasena to travel to Horton plains and the driver turned out to be a very knowledgable and accomodating and kind person too. Would definitely be returning there with our kids soon

We selected this hotel as one destination of our honeymoon trip. Before we arrived to the hotel, we requested to allow us keep our baggages at the hotel premises since we planned a walk for some places. But they said they can arrange a room and invited us for early check in. Therefore, we could come to the hotel by 11.30 am. Room is super clean and comfortable. Hotel Manager, his staff and chef are also very friendly and their customer service is beyond the expectation. They really care on our requirements. We booked a room with BB basis and we ordered a chef Salad for our dinner. They prepared super delicious salad for very reasonable price. Breakfast was so delicious and arranged nicely at balcony with an eye catching view point. At the time of our check out, Hotel Manager said us, no need to book a pick me vehicle, he can drop us at bus stand since we planned to travel to Kandy. Je dropped us safely without any charge. Actually Hotel Queensland can highly recommended for both local and international guests since their service is at highest level, super clean hotel premises, comfortable rooms with all facilities, value for money and super friendly professional staff and delicious foods. Thank you guys for everything and highly satisfied with your hospitality.
