Located close to the centre, the Hills rest is a wonderful place to stay, clean rooms and very welcoming manager who gave us tips about the town.

Good location, easy walk into town, nice staff - manager fixed a minor problem for us immediately. Good breakfast.

good location, 5-10 minute walk into town. helpful staff (arranged washing to be done for us at short notice) and helped arrange a driver. Comfy beds and filtered water. Unfortunately weather was bad due to a cyclone off the coast so we cut our stay short to avoid the rain. Would stay again.

This guest house was so cosy and nice. Lots of blankets and hot water bottle to keep you warm. Staff was great and helped us with getting drivers and even gave us our breakfast as a take away for our early 5am departure to the Horton Plains.

Staff member Daran is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The location of the property is good and the breakfast was nice. There were some good common areas to sit. Overall the property was very clean.

We stayed for one night here and the room was very good and clean, we also received nice suggestions on activities to do around there. The climate in Nuwara Eliya was also a welkom change after the hot city of Kandy.

A cosy little guest house in Nuwara Eliya. The hosts were extremely caring and helpful. They went out of their way to ensure that our stay was pleasant and comfortable. The gentleman who owns the place did everything and more to ensure that we enjoyed our time in the lovely hill town surrounded by tea plantations. We had some great conversations with him and were made to feel like family. We highly recommend this property for anyone looking to spend a few days in Nuwara Eliya. We would love to stay again at Nuwara Eliya Hills Rest.
