I can only confirm all the positive things been said in the reviews this month (didn't read further) : totally true in my experience. Whereby it is less the space itself (which is fine but as modest as the price of course) that deserves the highest rating, but it is the genuine care of the host! Expressed also with the generous breakfast he serves. It made me feel warm and good and will be remembered for a long time.

Such a wonderful host that helped us out a lot with where to go and how to get there. Also made our breakfast with lots of care and attention to detail.

I had a nice room, it was clean, with warm shower. The owner is very nice and gives you a lot of advice about where you can go. The breakfast is good, the last day i had a train in the morning and got a big breakfast for the road. The location is also good, near the center.

We stayed for a night to break up our trip from kandy to Ella. The host was very helpful and organised a tuk tuk for us early in the morning to get to train station to Ella which was very helpful. The place is basic but clean so suited us. The host made us up a packed breakfast for train which was a nice touch

Kalum is a great host! He helped us with local recommendations, extra plates when we needed it, and was proactive while communicating. The place is nothing fancy but is all you need. He also prepared us delicious breakfast. We enjoyed our stay at Lassana villa

Brilliant value for money, with an amazing host who will go out of his way to make your stay comfortable and provide tips for the area. He also made us a delicious takeaway breakfast for our very early train the next morning! Would recommend highly.

We only stayed there for one night before catching the train. It was a bit cold and rainy so the rooms were also a bit cold (but the bed has good blankets). The shower water was warm. The owner is very nice, gave us restaurant recommendations and packed us breakfast in the morning. If you are looking for a cheap but clean place to stay, you should pick this one!

The property is conveniently located near the city center, and gives you a warm homely feeling. The amenities and the room themselves are very basic, but it's well maintained. Warm water is available readily in the shower. Kalum is a wonderful and immensely helpful host and you don't need to worry about your time in Nuwara Eliya with him around.
