This hotel is MUCH nicer in person - the pictures do not do it justice! Very clean, welcoming staff, perfect temperature despite having no A/C. A wonderful stay!

Spacious rooms, lovely view to mountain, clean and modern. Great communal area plus a pool table and table football. Food was good - you need to pre order breakfast and dinner. Very friendly staff - a short walk to centre of town.

Lovely small hotel with clean rooms and newly refurbished with a modern bathroom. The place was visually appealing with nice decor and architecture. Bonus of nice common area with games and a great view.

I had the pleasure of staying at Highland Stonehouse during my visit to Nuwara Eliya, and I must say, it was an absolutely delightful experience! The location is perfect—just a short distance from the city center, yet tucked away in a serene spot that offers a peaceful escape from the bustling town. The highlight of my stay was undoubtedly the incredible staff. Their hospitality went above and beyond my expectations. From the moment we arrived, they were attentive, friendly, and always eager to help. They made us feel truly at home. The stonehouse itself is charming, with its unique design and picturesque setting. The views from the property are stunning, and it’s such a treat to wake up every morning to the beauty of the surrounding landscape. If you're looking for a cozy, comfortable place to stay with top-notch service and an authentic Nuwara Eliya experience, Highland Stonehouse is the perfect choice. Highly recommended!

Beautiful, large room with comfy beds and good bathroom. Lovely outdoor area with chairs to look at the view Breakfast was tasty Staff were very helpful Pool table and table football were a fun addition
