Very friendly and helpful hosts, big room with good shower and a big breakfast, only stayed one night but it was comfortable and Ajith and Priya were very welcoming , thank you

Excellent accommodation with incredibly friendly and genuine owners. Warmly welcomed from start to finish. Spacious and nice rooms, with access to a shared space. No issues with nighttime temperatures, plenty of blankets for those who get cold. They helped arrange a trip to Horton Plains and a visit to a tea plantation. Very interesting information about the area. Dinner at the accommodation is well worth having. Walking distance to the town center or a short tuk-tuk ride. Overall, it doesn't get better than this for a homestay.

Fantastic family that are very kind and accommodating. We had the newer rooms upstairs and it was so wonderful. The host has some great ideas and plans for expansion to improve the guest experience.

Lovely host family who provided the perfect spot for an overnight stay. They were helpful in planning my itinerary and getting me to the bus station the next day. Very comfy bed and with enough warm additions for cold NE nights. Lovely views. House was well secured.

Amazing homestay in Nuwara Eliya! The owners are so lovely and welcoming they helped us out with recommendations on what to do around the area. Breakfast was amazing, we loved our stay there. 100% recommended!

Best hospitality in Sri Lanka, lovely hosts with excellent care, breakfast was large and yummy, helped us organise tuk tuks and give advice on what to do and local area. Lovely views of the lake and surroundings. Cosy and comfortable which was needed as weather not so good.

Our recent stay at Ajith’s homestay (AGP Homes) in Nuwara Eliya was, without a doubt, the best homestay experience we’ve ever had. Ajith and his family were exceptional hosts, making us feel as though we were staying with our own family in a warm, welcoming home. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with genuine hospitality and served tea and cookies as a welcome treat. Over drinks, Ajith patiently shared detailed recommendations on the best places to visit in Nuwara Eliya, answered all our questions, and even guided us on transportation options. The rooms, located on the newly built first floor, were immaculate, spacious, and thoughtfully equipped. I’d highly recommend booking these rooms—they come with a balcony offering stunning views of Gregory Lake, Sri Lanka’s highest peak, and the charming Little England cottages. The terrace was another highlight, providing breathtaking sunset views—perfect for enjoying evening tea. Breakfast, lovingly prepared by Ajith’s wife, was an absolute delight. We were served a generous spread that included eggs, coconut-filled sweet pancakes, coconut roti, dal, fresh fruits, toasted bread, and tea/coffee. Every bite made us feel at home. The homestay is surrounded by lush greenery, offering a peaceful retreat slightly away from the city center (a quick 10-minute tuk-tuk ride). Gregory Lake is also just a 10-minute walk away. If you’re visiting Nuwara Eliya, I cannot recommend this place enough. It’s more than just accommodation—it’s an experience filled with warmth, care, and unforgettable memories.
