The location is really great, in the middle of the jungle and at walking distance from a wonderful little bay, with snorkeling directly from the beach. try out the little restaurant on the left side of the beach "Warung beach and stones" The staff was very nice, very helpful (arranging transport etc) and friendly. The food at the restaurant was simple but very good. We were traveling with our kids (6 and 7 years old) and everything about this hotel was well suited for them.

The restaurant inside this accommodation was very nice. They can serve not only Indonesian dishes but also western foods. We love their nasi goreng, Soto ayam and some kinds of pasta. They are so good.

Mahaloka Valley offers a peaceful and comfortable stay in a jungle oasis near Crystal Bay Beach. The little wooden huts provide a truly unique experience to be surrounded by nature whilst still having the same levels of comfort and hospitality that a 'regular' resort provides. We were very well looked after by the owner and resort staff. Whilst the location is fairly isolated the resort offers taxi services or scooter hire to explore the island more easily. During our stay we were lucky enough to spot monkeys in the trees from the pool side.

Mahaloka Valley is beautiful. There's a stunning pool and the rooms are very cute. There's staff are friendly and it's only a short walk to Crystal Bay, where you can snorkel and enjoy the beach.

Near to beach of Cristal Bay, very peaceful destination in the middle of nature. Classic breakfast with fresh juice and fruit in the menu.

The location at the end of a valley brought a special ambience. To arrive you travel a dirt road through a traditional village which we were thrilled to be amongst culture. We chose here because of location to Crystal Beach (700m) for a morning swim and snorkeling (anywhere past 10am and many tourists arrive). The staff were helpful, and the restaurant was good. The property is small and intimate. *Snorkelling Crystal Bay is probably best with an operator due to navigating the currents.

Calm, cozy place. There is everything you need. The nearest beach is about 1.2km from the property. Staff was very kind and nice.

It is more beautiful than the photos. Had the most wonderful stay at Mahaloka Valley and will definitely be back. Rooms are larger than expected and the beds incredible comfy. air con works brilliantly. Lots of storage. WiFi was super strong. Hot showers. Pool was wonderful to lounge around. Sari the owner also did our laundry for us which was wonderful (machine wash). Breakfast was nice too. Crystal Bay beach was a 10 minute walk away which has delightful sunsets, little lovely warungs, and has the best colourful coral I have ever seen (right side of bay facing sea). we also did a boat trip to Manta Bay from the beach with the local tour guide and swam with manta rays and turtles. Thank you Nyoman & Sari and your team for a fabulous and memorable stay. we will be back 🙏🏻
