I'm a 'senior' backpacker that thinks in still 18 in my head.. OK I was in a 4 bed dorm but the whole place just shouted 'Hotel' rather than 'Hostel. There was absolutely no hostel 'vibe' - nor any vibe. Breakfast expensive by hostel standards for what one got. There was a great push to 'check in' online but the app was useless. I've just over to a&o Salzburg. The app couldn't cope there either

Had a good stay with the family. The hotel is located at the centre of the town but it was quiet in our room and we could sleep without any noise from outside. Finding a parking along the streets was not a issue at night when we arrived so we did not have to reserve parking space at the hotel. There was always someone at the reception incase of any queries.

I enjoyed the communal space, with the bar and tables with charging stations. The bed was comfortable, the shower had plenty of warm water, and a good level of cleanliness. On Friday night they do Karaoke. It is a place that attracts nice people! Good wifi through the whole building and charging plugs are even available by the bed. Friendly reception. Draught Beer at the hostel was cheaper than Paulaner Gasthous in Centre.

Very convenient location, close to the center. And just a few minutes to the train station. Low price for such quality, near the administration there are a number of entertainment for guests.
