Hotel Warere Beach

Warere Beach Hotel is at the highest standards in all ways, including the super nice, polite, always helpful, friendly and smiley staff. Everything is very well maintained, clean and equiped with things you need for a vacation. Drinking water is always available as many you want. The pillows, blankets and the beds are execptionally comfy and soft, the best I've every experienced. Foods and drinks in the restaurant and beach bar are great, delicious and at very good price (in 2025 January I could eat almost any meals btw 10-14 USD, one beer is 3 USD, a Coke is 2 USD). The garden is lovely, green, and its difficult to describe the beauty of the view either from the rooms, restarurant, or at the pool, beach, its simply wonderful. Many different colours of the ocean, really really lovely, the view was the best here in Zanzibar compared to the other beaches I've seen. During the low tide period you can walk on the coast side, 3 minutes from the hotel there is a very nice bigger white sandy beach. There was high tide only late afternoon around 6 pm which is almost the sunset time (6.30pm). You can hear the voice of the ocean from your room as well. Kendwa and Nungwi beaches are within 10 minutes (taxi) drive if you want to see some different beaches but those were too busy/noisy for me, you can even walk there. The hotel and beach are very private in the hotel, no beach boys disturbing you at all. There are always free sunbeds at the pool area, its quiet and great for relaxing. Massage is also available in the hotel and it is great at a good price also. WIFI works everywhere in the hotel inside and outside.

As the other reviews say, staff were very friendly and restaurant food was truly delicious but we had a few issues. Pool area and beach were nice.

We stayed at the Warere Beach for 2 nights. The hotel's location is ideal, with a beautiful garden, lovely sea views and a pleasant pool. The rooms are beautiful and the beds very comfortable. The restaurant is very good and the staff very friendly. The breakfast is incredible.

Clean hotel with good sized, comfortable rooms, lovely sea view and good quality, mostly tasty food. Quiet location. The tide goes out very far leaving an interesting beach full of pools and sand banks - water shoes required to explore.

I had an amazing experience at Warere Hotel! I was impressed by how clean and comfortable the room is. It truly felt like a home away from home. The food at the restaurant was absolutely delicious. The view from the room was breathtaking . the staff were incredibly kind, attentive, and professional, always going above and beyond to ensure my comfort. I highly recommend Warere Hotel to anyone looking for a relaxing and memorable stay in Zanzibar. I'll definitely be back!

Stunning location, beautiful and peaceful just away from the main Nungwi beach. Pretty gardens, gorgeous pool and most of all friendly, helpful and welcoming staff that are a credit to the hotel.

Warere Beach is a slice of paradise! The staff makes you feel like family, always so joyous with warm, big smiles. We booked our stay for a day too short and were surprised to learn this upon our arrival but the staff were super friendly and accomodating, finding us a beautiful Seaview villa by the pool. The room was comfortable with a terrace where we could enjoy the views into the horizons. Breakfast was delicious, something for everyone - the perfect touch to fuel up for the day. The made to order omelettes were scrumptious. We chose Warere Beach for its idyllic location, which is a bit secluded compared to other places on the island and proved to be exactly what we needed! Ali drove us to and fro every day. We feel like we have made a new friend with Ali, who is patient, kind, funny and a great dancer too. We would 1 million % recommend Warere Beach to anyone visiting beautiful Zanzibar! We were in tears as we said goodbye as the entire staff sang and danced with us one last time.
