Everything about Rio Jambo is amazing. The best location, crystal white sandy beaches. January's weather is a perfect sunny 31° every day, with balmy 26° nights. There are 3 speciality restaurants as well as fourth, which is the best buffet I have ever seen. The quality and range of food available has to be experienced to be believed. Plus this place really is all inclusive, there is NO constant up selling like at others we've been to, we checked out and the bill was zero. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and always smiling. Rio Jambo is officially rated 4 star, but it would pass as 5 star anywhere in the world. There are 4 pools and a toddler splash pool, our favourite was the adults' swim up bar pool. The water sports are provided by Scuba Caribe and we opted to do our open water diving certs through them, as they are a PADI certified diving centre. Our diving instructor was patient and diligent. The water was a constant 30° and I was diving without a wetsuit. Sunsets from the bar on the water are perfect.

We had a wonderful 4 night stay in this hotel a few days ago and we left the premises so well rested and satisfied ⭐️ It was our first time booking an all-inclusive resort and I feel it was totally worth it and was value for money. To start with all the hotel seems very new and well maintained . It has wonderful gardens, amazing access to the beach and beautiful view. There are hundreds of staff everywhere who is making sure all spaces are cleaned, organized, all food/drinks are refilled frequently, security services and customer service is 10/10. The room was cleaned and refreshed on a daily basis and it had a modern and aesthetic design. It was comfortably big and had all the necessities for a relaxing stay. The buffet was very satisfying all day long and with a huge variety of foods and the addition of the three restaurants in the beach, make it feel like you’re having dinner in a very fancy restaurant without having to transfer anywhere else.

Cleanliness of the room. Food was delicious. Perfect beach. Staff was very friendly. They recommended a safari agency, the safari was excellent. Everything was perfectly organized. Entertainment at the hotel, fitness program, art workshops. Christmas dinner was fantastic.

The location is perfect, alone the best beach in Zanzibar. The food was amazing! While it was buffet style, the quality was great. Staff very friendly
