A beautiful place to stay that feels private and peaceful. The pool is nicely shaded by the trees that surround it which is great for the Zanzibar heat. The staff are friendly and helpful, especially the security guard, who stood outside with us while we waited for our tuk-tuk, and receptionist. The walk to the beach is about 10 mins.

We had a wonderful stay at Gaia Villas. The location is perfect, the space intimate, clean, comfortable, and just stunning. I can tell a lot of work went into creating this little space of paradise. It's authentic and one of a kind. The owner Tanja and the staff also made all efforts to make sure we were comfortable and adjusted according to our requests regarding breakfast etc. We will definitely be back next year!

We really enjoyed our time staying at Gaia. It was in the perfect location- just a short walk to Nungwi beach and a short drive to Kendwa beach. All of the staff were so friendly and accommodating. We felt very safe with the security on site. The breakfast each morning was lovely there was a good variety. Tanya was very helpful and lovely, she helped us organise our day trip to Mnemba island and shared a lot of useful information with us.

Amazing stay at Gaia Villas. Everything was exactly like the pictures. Breakfast was amazing and staff are amazing - especially Issaya who really helped make our stay comfortable. The location is also superb - only a 5minute walk to Nungwi beach and restaurants etc. I will certainly stay here again when i return to Nungwi!

I am extremely happy with experience at Gaia Villas. The property is beautiful - nicely landscaped and the villas tasteful and comfortable. Tanya - the property owner - went out of her way to answer so many questions and help me to coordinate excursions and transportation. Isaac - the front desk manager - was also hospitable, personable, and always there to help. One of best parts was the breakfast - definitely not your standard hotel breakfast and instead featured homemade jams, baguette, and a main of your choice cooked fresh. While there are a lot of big box villas and hotels around Nungwi, this boutique villa of just 8 rental units feels personal and special. I would highly recommend!

So many things that made our stay almost perfect. First there is Tanya who cares a lot about her guests. The breakfast is delicious and fresh juice, fruits and good bread are perfect. The accommodation is clean and well equipped. The pool and garden are amazing, because of the low tide we often enjoyed our time at the pool. 7 min walk to the beach and restaurants.

The location was good close to nungwi beach, Tanya the manager was very helpful and answers questions promptly. The mosquito net is good. The breakfast was ok there could be more options
