The location was great, close to the shops, and restaurants. The beaches were beautiful and only few minutes walk from Casa Carlotta. The staff were very nice and made sure we had a nice comfortable stay. The rooms were comfortable with A/C and ceiling fans. The bed was surprisingly really comfy, we had a great night sleep each night. The location was central yet very peaceful at night. We walked around at night and it felt very safe. Locals here all very cheerful and pleasant. The breakfast was served each day consisting of fruit juice, and plate of fresh fruit, followed by choice of pancakes, omlet, scrambled eggs, or toasts. It was simple but tasty and all of us enjoyed it. The owner Mauricio doesn't speak English but it wasn't an issue for us, he's a great guy, made sure all was well. Definitely recommend for solo travelers as well as families or group of friends. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

The owner and his staff are very friendly and responsive. It is quite a cozy place, near so many restaurants and Nungwi Beach.

Big room, a lot of space. Owners are the best: if you have any issue, even if you think it is not relevant to hotel, like exchanging currency, then just go and ask owners, they will help you! We caught the fish and hotel cooked it for us. We also were provided late check out for free (not guaranteed, subject for availability). Breakfast is fresh prepared specially for you. Beach is located nearby. Conditioner works perfectly.

We had a lovely stay at Casa Carlotta, the staff is very welcoming and served us good breakfast. The room is of a good size, enough for two people, and the common parts are nice.

The accommodation being a 2 bedroom bungalow offered us great space and lovely accommodation overall. The breakfasts were simple but amazing; and the staff were all brilliant; polite, smiley and nothing was too much trouble.

Location literally in the center, just 3 minutes by walk from the ocean. Staff and owner very helpful and polite, delicious breakfasts, we felt like at home.
