One of the best accomodations I've experienced. Food is very good, staff is very pleasant and helpful. Owner helped my father with his backpain. Cannot imagine better place to stay.

Our stay at Babalao Bungalows in Nungwi was simply fantastic! From the moment we arrived, we felt at home thanks to the warm, friendly, and family-like atmosphere. The attention to detail throughout the property is incredible, and the staff couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. We especially enjoyed the lovely conversations with the owner, who truly made us feel like part of the family. The room had everything we needed – clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully equipped. The pool was a wonderful bonus, offering a refreshing spot to relax. The location is ideal, just a short walk from the beautiful beach and surrounded by plenty of restaurants and shops. The food at Babalao was also delicious, and the overall vibe of the place was so inviting and relaxed.

The location of the property was perfect in Nungwi. We had a great room with excellent facilities. Our host, Alp, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. We will definitely stay again. Thank you!

Beautiful location. Property is new and neat. The staff are very hospitable. The hotel is very close to the beach, around 3 min walk. The breakfast was very varied and tasty (for each day of a week you will have different breakfast) it also includes fruits and eggs prepared on your choice. Wi-fi connection is stable, hairdryer, fridge are available. Nice area near the pool. You can enjoy drinks on the bar.

The property is well taken care off and there is enough space to sit outside. Everything is well organized, clean rooms, restaurant with good and fresh food.

The property is beautiful and has all the comforts one needs. Inside is stunning greenery and a relaxing outdoor area. Despite power cuts, we always had electricity, which was very convenient. Breakfast was well-balanced and filling, with a good mix of fruit, protein, and carbs. The water at Nungwi Beach was fantastic—much better than where we stayed before (Jambiani). The temperature was perfect, neither too warm nor too cold, and even during low tide, we could still swim. We ended up spending all our time in the water!
